Responsibilities
Our Digital Experience Mobile team is seeking an iOS Mobile Developer to support State Farm’s mobile app, which delivers insurance and claims capabilities to our customers. We leverage Agile principles and cutting-edge technology to bring customer facing changes to production every three weeks.
As a member of our team, you’ll bring practical knowledge of agile development methodologies and communication skills to illustrate ideas with team members and use your experience to contribute to our mobile application capabilities.
Qualifications
A competitive candidate will be someone who can balance working both independently and collaboratively, build relationships across different teams, and demonstrate technical knowledge in some of the following:
- SwiftUI, UIKit, and iOS design principles (Apple Human Interface Guidelines)
- iOS Architecture methodologies (MVVM)
- Debugging, performance, and optimization skills, with a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Familiarity with RESTful web services, JSON/XML data structures and JSON API
- Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
- Writing Unit Tests

- Remote: Qualified candidates (outside of hub locations listed below) may be considered for 100% remote work arrangements based on where a candidate currently resides or is currently located.
- Hybrid: Qualified candidates (in or near hub locations listed below) should plan to spend time working from home and some time working in the office as part of our hybrid work environment.

Salary Range
- For Colorado, Washington State, Maryland, and Washington D.C. candidates: Potential salary range: $85,500-$156,200
- For California, New York, and Connecticut candidates: Potential salary range: $85,500 – $177,500
- For Hawaii and Vermont candidates: Potential salary range: $85,500 – $142,000
- Potential yearly incentive pay: up to 15% of base salary
